What is a Group Buy?

A Group Buy (GB) is a a crowd funded project for a product before it has been manufactured. A GB is open with a limited window to join. When the limited window is closed, the data is collected and the respected vendors place the order with the manufacturer.

What is a pre-order?

AlphaKeys pre-order refers to the extra product purchased after a Group Buy has ended. This is to allow those that have missed the opportunity of joining the Group Buy to purchase the product without aftermarket price inflation. To accommodate for the extra inventory, these extra products are priced higher than the price of the Group Buy.

AlphaKeys pre-order also refers to products that have been ordered, are begin manufactured or en-route to our fulfillment center.

Shipping

Estimated shipping times are stated within the Group Buy product page which varies between projects. Once the group buy window is closed, the order is placed and manufacturing begins. Once manufacturing has finished, the products will then be shipped to the AlphaKeys fulfillment center and shipped out accordingly to customers.

Combining Group Buy, Pre-Order, and In-Stock Items

AlphaKeys allows the purchase of multiple group buy, pre-order, and/or in-stock items in the same order. From there we will ship them together when all items have arrived at the AlphaKeys fulfillment center or alternatively you can pay for shipping separately if AlphaKeys receives an item earlier than another.
